What are Shipping Rebates?

Shipping rebates allow members to get their money back when they have to pay a shipping fee.

A free shipping rebate is a portion of or the entire shipping fee that is returned to the buyer after the purchase is complete. A rebate differs from a coupon or a discount because it happens after a purchase is made versus being taken off the purchase price at checkout. FreeShipping.com offers rebates for shipping fees and return shipping fees.

How does a purchase qualify for a Free Shipping Rebate?

As long as you shop through FreeShipping.com at over 1,000 retailers like Walmart, Target, Kohl’s, Lowe’s, and more, your purchase can qualify for a free shipping rebate. If a retailer already offers free shipping for your purchase, you can choose to upgrade your shipping speed and get up to $10 back for that shipping fee. You’ll get your order faster and still get money back!

Are there any limits for the shipping rebates?

With a FreeShipping.com membership, you can claim up to $10 per shipping fee you’ve had to pay on a purchase made at a retailer through FreeShipping.com. You can claim up to $500 in total free shipping rebates per year.

Do returns qualify for rebates?

As a FreeShipping.com member, all of your online purchases, including those purchases made through the retailers on FreeShipping.com and through other online retailers, are eligible for a return shipping rebate. We know that sometimes when an order arrives; it's not the right size or color or exactly what you expected. We don't think you should have to pay to send that item back to the store when you're not satisfied. Simply send it back, log in to FreeShipping.com, and go to the "Rebates" tab to claim a return shipping rebate.

Please see our Terms of Service for details regarding both free shipping and free return shipping rebates, including how to submit claims.
